Happy New Year To You All

I just quickly put together the collage above to wish everyone out there a happy & prosperous new year.
I know many of you are making new year resolutions, whether it be to quit smoking or lose weight. I wish you all the best with that, but I personally do not necessarily have a new year resolution. I just want to continue to have good health and succeed in school and so forth. Anyways, i wish you all the best with your resolutions and i hope you all achieve it. Best wishes to you all as we bring in the year 2010.

From BAD to WORSE!

As i said before my camera is broken, and if that's not bad enough today the Olympic Torch passed through our town and i missed it. At first i was upset that i wouldnt have my camera to take pics but it didnt matter because i missed the event. I'm so upset because i was looking forward to this all week. It's not everyday you get to see the Olympic Torch and i wanted to experience it. Unfortunately that did not happen and i have to wait like another couple years (booooo). Gosh it's just not my week at all. Let's just hope things get better.

Oh.Em.Gee!

So earlier this morning i was viewing the pics i had taken of my family's christmas dinner when my camera fumbled out of my hand and broke! I'm so upset because ive taken such good care of this camera and even though i wanted a new camera i still wanted to be able to use this one. It only fell a short distance from my hand to the ground (soft carpet) so im just shocked that it's broken. Well i shouldnt really say broken as the lens is what's the problem. It's stuck and will not move so im unable to take any photographs. This really sucks because i've had a Kodak camera prior and my neice dropped it & it nearly split in two but worked fine to this day. Anyways, hopefully i can get this camera sorted out so i can take some winter shots to post up before the month ends.

It Didnt Feel Like Christmas
I hope everyone had a great christmas i was so busy i didnt have time to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Anyways i enjoyed the day with my family but honestly it did not feel like christmas at all. For one it didnt snow; it rained and washed away the little snow we did have. It was sloshy and slippery on the roads and felt more like a rainy spring day instead of winter. We were all hoping for a little snow for Christmas day but i guess better luck next year eh?
For all those out for boxing day sales, enjoy and please be safe out there.

I love macro and i love capturing nature!

About Gasai Photography

I've been in love with photography for as long as i can remember. When other kids were saving their little pocket change to purchase treats and toys, i was saving to purchase my first camera. I will never forget the day i bought my first camera, it's a day i'm proud to recall.
I remember my family and i travelling to London, and i remember going into this store and as soon as i saw the camera (and the price of course to ensure it fit my budget)
I said "I want that camera!"
And i remember my mom asking me with this suprised look on her face, "You're going to buy a camera?"
She was so shocked but i knew she was proud. I will never forget that "Kodak Moment" *hehe*.
So i bought a Kodak film camera, which i still have to this day and it is still in good condition.
